This is one of the autonomous aerial drones that e-commerce giant Amazon is looking to someday use to deliver packages weighing five pounds or less to customers' doorsteps in some parts of the country. The Federal Aviation Administration on Aug. 29, 2020 granted Amazon a Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, but the company says more testing is needed before it can begin using drones as part of its delivery system.
