111 coronavirus cases at University of Sunderland with outbreaks mainly clustered around student accommodation

The University of Sunderland has seen 24 new cases of coronavirus this week bringing the total number of cases to 111.

102 students and nine staff have tested positive for the illness and are self-isolating.

The University has said that the majority of cases are centred around student accommodation.
